My Journey to Teaching
I grew up in Alicante on Spain's sunny Mediterranean coast, where Spanish was simply how we lived, laughed, and connected. After studying education at university, my own journey as a language learner began — first in Texas, then in England.
Living abroad taught me what it really takes to learn a new language. The frustration of not finding the right word. The thrill of finally understanding a joke. The confidence that comes from just jumping in and speaking.
That experience shapes how I teach today. I know what it's like to be in your shoes, and I know how to make the path to fluency feel achievable — and even enjoyable.
